By achieving this level of assessment maturity, the State of Wyoming has transformed its facility management philosophy. Maintenance planning is no longer reactive or siloed. Instead, Wyoming is now able to forecast future system needs, justify funding requests with confidence, and coordinate efforts across districts and agencies using standardized asset codes and regionalized cost data. The ability to track Expected Useful Life, Remaining Useful Life, and condition trends empowers leadership to plan capital projects with precision and transparency.
